What you need (it's cheap to start)

A printer and thick paper (cardstock holds paint best), a set of acrylic or craft paints, a few brushes including one fine tip, water and a scrap plate for a palette. That's it — no experience required.

How to print and paint it

  1. Print on the thickest paper your printer allows so paint doesn't bleed.
  2. Keep the color chart beside you — it maps each number to a shade.
  3. Work light colors first, then darker ones, for clean edges.
  4. Two thin coats beat one thick one; let each area dry before its neighbor.

From paper to something you'd frame

A printable is a lovely way to try the hobby. When you want a piece worth hanging, a Winnie's Picks kit gives you a numbered linen canvas, pre-mixed acrylics and the right brushes — no printer, no color-matching.
